The recipe about how to make an eggless cake with simple and easy instructions. You only need 8 easily ingredients and any garnish that you want. This basic cake can also use as the foundation for your creative cake ideas.

Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Melted Butter
  • 400 grams Condensed Milk
  • 3/4 cup Water/Milk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tbsp Hot Water
  • 3 tbsp Icing Sugar (for garnish)
Instructions
  1. Prepare an 8" or 9" square baking pan, and cover its bottom by greaseproof paper.

  2. Preheat the oven to 302 F.

  3. Prepare a large mixing bowl.

    Mix all the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, and baking powder) to make dry ingredients mixture.

  4. Sieve the dry ingredients mixture.

  5. Add the condensed milk, sugar, melted butter, water/milk, and vanilla extract into dry ingredients mixture. Whisk them together by using a mixer until you get a smooth batter without any lumps. Remember do not overbeat the batter.

  6. Add the hot water into the cake batter after it has been mixed well. The hot water helps you to result the soft cake texture. 

  7. Put the batter into the baking pan, and bake it for about 50 to 55 minutes.

  8. Check whether the cake has been baked well or not by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake, if it comes out clean, it means the cake is baked well.

  9. After the cake has been cool down, you can garnish it with icing sugar, frosting, sprinkles, or anything that you want.
